Sinuses are hollow spaces inside the skull found either side of your nose, behind and in between your eyes, in your forehead and at the back of your nose cavity. If your sinuses become congested and blocked, it can result in sinusitis. The symptoms of sinusitis include a stuffy nose, headache, throbbing pain and pressure, as well as fever in some cases.

SUDAFED® treatments contain clinically proven decongestants such as pseudoephedrine and xylometazoline. These get to work by constricting blood vessels in the nose and sinuses to reduce swelling and inflammation, allowing mucus to drain away more freely from your nose and sinuses. SUDAPLUS® also contains paracetamol to help relieve pain and ease discomfort.

Many sinus infections evolve from colds, so it is important to protect yourself from cold viruses. Here are some tips to help keep yourself free of infection:

  • Use anti-bacterial wipes on hands and surfaces to stop germs breeding
  • Eat lots of fruit and vegetables and drink plenty of water
  • Rest and regular exercise are also beneficial in keeping you fit.
